20th June 2009
Windsurfing: Alton reservoiur
Wind Direction: NW
Wind Stength: F3 - 4
Surf / Sea State: flat
Air Temperature: 20C
Sea Temperature:
Weather: good
Max Speed: 23 knots (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: ?

With the wind offshore at Felixstowe and the tide out at Levington - the ressy was the only quick option. That is the gustiest place on earth and the wind range from 0 to 20kts. Most were on about 7.5 so rig 8.5M on my new exocet WS80 SL. The board is quick, but with 140L I still couldn't go thru the holes!!
Best run 23kts, but didn't realyy enjoy it. Paul (Roger) turned up and I saw some old faces at Alton still plying their wears.
OK sail I suppose, then I saw Steve Q heading for Tiree on the A14 about 4.00'oclock - he has a long drive !
